AC Milan are not yet panicking regarding the renewal of Gianluigi Donnarumma despite the fact his contract is now eight months from expiry.
The Donnarumma saga feels like it has been ongoing for some time now and up until recent weeks there seems to have been some doubts about whether the 21-year-old would renew with his boyhood club.
However, recent reports have suggested that after ongoing talks with his agent Mino Raiola the two parties are moving closer towards agreeing an extension of his current contract.
According to Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Milan management are still quite calm about the renewal of Donnarumma even if it were to drag on longer.
The player’s will is clear and it plays straight into the hands of Paolo Maldini, Ivan Gazidis and co.: Donnarumma would very much like to make his debut in the Champions League with the Rossoneri.
