GdS: Milan player ratings for Torino loss – most players score below a 6

By Oliver Fisher -

A number of AC Milan players were criticised for their performance during last night’s defeat against Torino in the Coppa Italia.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) have published player ratings for the game at San Siro which saw the Rossoneri defeated in extra time by Torino despite the fact the away side had been down to 10 men from the 70th minute onwards.

The man of the match for the Rossoneri, according to the paper, was Ciprian Tatarusanu who made a good save in the first half that kept things at 0-0 and he could do nothing about the winning goal, earning a 6.5.

The only other players to earn a passing grade of a 6 were Sergino Dest, Brahim Diaz and Junior Messias. The worst marks went to Stefano Pioli who did not seem to manage the game well with a man advantage, plus Pierre Kalulu who lost Adopo which lost the game. Both got a 4.5, as did the overall team performance.

Completing the ratings, Matteo Gabbia got a 5, Fikayo Tomori a 5.5, Sandro Tonali a 5.5, while Tommaso Pobega, Charles De Ketelaere, Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud, Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer all got a 5.
