GdS: Milan player ratings for win over Spezia – Leao the best but Tonali and Colombo struggle

By Oliver Fisher -

Rafael Leao was the protagonist for AC Milan as they beat Spezia 3-0 to join Atalanta at the top of the Serie A table.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the Portuguese starlet was the best of all the Rossoneri players, as he recovered from a bad first half to become the match winner when switched to a centre-forward, receiving a 7 out of 10.

It was the same score also also for Theo Hernandez, Brahim Diaz and Hakan Calhanoglu. The full-back provided a boost and showed absolutely no fatigue, the Real Madrid loanee was irrepressible and it was impossible to take the ball away from him, while the Turkey international provided the assist to break the deadlock.

Other scores of note include Rade Krunic and especially Sandro Tonali (scores of 5.5 and 5 respectively). The former Brescia midfielder has not yet got up to speed and it shows, the Bosnian is too slow and turgid. The debut in Serie A for Lorenzo Colombo was also bad, but it will be a lesson that will make him grow. He scored a 5.
