AC Milan engineered a memorable second half comeback to beat Lazio 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico last night as Sandro Tonali was the hero.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanPosts) has their player ratings but starts with the overall team rating, which was a 7 out of 10 compared to Lazio’s 5.5, while Stefano Pioli got a 7 and Maurizio Sarri just a 5.

The man of the match was Sandro Tonali who in addition to scoring the winning goal dictated the tempo in midfield, earning a 7, but his double pivot partner was judged to be the most disappointing player and only got a 5.

Mike Maignan got a 6 while Davide Calabria received the same score and Theo Hernandez on the other flank got a 6.5. Fikayo Tomori received a 6.5 while his centre-back partner Pierre Kalulu got a 5.5.

Junior Messias got a 6.5 for his endeavour on the right flank, and Rafael Leao earned a 7 for his dynamism on the other side, but Brahim Diaz’s struggled continues as he got a 5. Olivier Giroud received a 7, substitutes Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rade Krunic got a 6.5 and Ante Rebic a 7.
