By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan got their third straight win by a single goal to nil as they beat Monza last night in what was far from a classic encounter.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) has their player ratings for the game, starting with the overall performance from the team and the management of Stefano Pioli, each of which were worth a 6.5 out of 10.

The best players on the pitch was Junior Messias as per the paper, who got a 7, while the one who struggled the most was Charles De Ketelaere who got a 5.

Ciprian Tatarusanu, Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori all got a 6.5 for a solid effort in the rearguard, while Rade Krunic, Sandro Tonali, Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz got the same.

Divock Origi was awarded a 5.5 as he struggled to make much impact, while Rafael Leao received a 6.5, Alexis Saelemaekers a 6 and Olivier Giroud the same.

  1. Sale also should be 6.5
he was good at the build-up of counterattacks and should have ended the game with assist (oh Charles, Charles….)

  2. Yes well done AC Milan ..sadly Origi did nothing but that does not surprise me ,as he is not a centre forward,Olivier Giroud is ..just need Olivier against Atalanta ,,feel certain we will win this game …
Also feel very confident that we will finish in the top four ,even better news we will beat Tottenham again and be in the last eight of the champions leauge .
So pleased with salamakers from at the moment .
We are on the way up again ,our defence looks so much better ,and yes a good defence is the best way to attack..
