AC Milan pulled off arguably their biggest win of the season yesterday evening as they beat Atalanta 2-0 at San Siro to move within a point of winning the Scudetto.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport has their ratings for the game, giving Milan a 7 overall compared to Atalanta who got a 5.5. Stefano Pioli was rated 7.5 for his management of the game and the substitutions he made.
The man of the match was Rafael Leao who got an 8 as he scored the opening goal, while Davide Calabria struggled the most but was still worthy of a 6. Mike Maignan (7), Fikayo Tomori (7), Pierre Kalulu (7) and Theo Hernandez (8) complete a very solid back four.
Sandro Tonali got a 6.5 while his double pivot partner Franck Kessie received a 7.5. Alexis Saelemaekers got a 6, Rade Krunic was given a 6.5 and Olivier Giroud got a 6.
Substitutes Ante Rebic (6.5), Junior Messias (6.5) and Ismael Bennacer (6.5) all made an impact off the bench.
