AC Milan received a lot of praise for their performance in Croatia last night as they brushed aside Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 at the Stadion Maksimir.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have published their ratings this morning starting with a score of 8 out of 10 to the team in general for their performance and an 8 also for Stefano Pioli’s management of the game.
Sandro Tonali was awarded man of the match and a score of 7.5 for a dominant midfield display, while the biggest disappointment was Charles De Ketelaere who scored only a 5 after missing a big chance to open his account.
Four of the back five players got a 6.5 as Ciprian Tatarusanu, Simon Kjaer, Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez all impressed, but Matteo Gabbia (7.5) stood out after a resilient display and a first goal for the club.
Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao were also given a 7.5 for their undeniable impact on proceedings, with Ante Rebic getting a 6.5 and Olivier Giroud a 7.
Rade Krunic, Tommaso Pobega and Junior Messias all received a score of 6 off the bench.

His shot ratio on goal was awesome,scored from the penalty spot with aplomb…He would have scored more than the one had it not been for a couple of excellent saves from the Zagreb keeper ..Yes I am a huge fan of Olivier Giroud,and I will tell you this ,many more goals to come from him ..We are a better team when he plays ..Rafael leao what a livewire he is ,it’s a great to have him alongside Olivier…He also scored again .
