GdS: Milan ratings for Lazio defeat – Five Rossoneri players get slated

By Oliver Fisher -

Samu Castillejo and Rade Krunic were the only two players to escape the defeat against Lazio with praise in La Gazzetta dello Sport’s player ratings.

The away side ended a 30-year wait in beating Milan at San Siro in Serie A on Sunday night, with Joaquin Correa scoring an 83rd minute winner on the break to seal a 2-1 victory.

Head coach Stefano Pioli stated after the game that his side are ‘improving’, though there were not many standouts from the newspaper’s ratings on Monday morning (via MilanNews.it).

La Gazzetta dello Sport awarded two scores of 7/10 to Krunic and Castillejo, the latter having started the game well before being forced to leave the field due to a muscle problem.

Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu each registered a 6.5, while a 6 was awarded to Gianluigi Donnarumma and Theo Hernandez.

Alessio Romagnoli and Lucas Paqueta scored 5.5s, with Leo Duarte (mistakes on the two goals), Davide Calabria (too many errors), Krzysztof Piatek (imprecise), Rafael Leao (ineffective) and Ante Rebic (not in the game) all getting 5/10.
