Even though the season still has two games to go, there is a constant flow of rumours and speculation linking AC Milan with seemingly a new target every day.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes that Milan are expected to make moves in midfield, especially after Ismael Bennacer’s knee injury which required surgery and will see him miss six months.
The Rossoneri management will have to intervene decisively to find a replacement who is up to the task, and they believe that Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo could be the perfect profile.
He is a midfielder who knows how to operate in both phases, he is young with room to grow, he is Italian which helps when compiling squad lists and he is even able to lend a hand with goal contributions.
Frattesi’s price could go up because of the number of clubs interested though, and his valuation starts at a base price of €20m. He could sit alongside his Italy team-mate Sandro Tonali in the midfield, at least until Bennacer returns.
For 20 we should take
But I think they will reqiure at least 30, if not 40
Think Hjulmand is better and cheaper
Get Kamada for free for the AM position, and then invest the money in RW.
Yes frattasi is Solid at least he can play the midfield along side with tonali
This is all moot talk and speculation until we have a feel for Milan’s transfer budget. We don’t even know if it will be self-sustained like last summer, or if Gerry intends to inject additional funds.
