GdS: Milan close to securing deal for departing Lazio youngster

AC Milan are getting closer and closer to signing Lazio youngster Luka Romero on a free transfer with the attacking midfielder departing the Biancocelesti, a report claims.

As has been reported by the print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), the 18-year-old midfielder seems close to Milan than any other of the linked teams, which include Inter.

Romero made 12 appearances for the Lazio first team last season but only managed one goal and no assists. Milan are paying a lot of attention to the free transfer market this summer.

Romero would almost certainly not walk into the starting lineup at Milan but if the Rossoneri were to secure Daichi Kamada’s signature, Romero could provide depth and an alternative to the Japanese star.

Gazzetta report that the deal could be closed between Milan and the player within the next few days, which could see a snowball effect start to come into play with arrivals.

    1. As much as it hurt my ego it’s literally the best midfield at an affordable price right now and we know he can deliver.
