A new stadium remains among the top priorities for Gerry Cardinale and RedBird Capital, with AC Milan still evaluating various areas.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), the Milan ownership have the construction of a new state of the art stadium near the top of their list of priorities as the plans to modernise the club continue.
RedBird will choose the area that will guarantee a route with fewer obstacles and hurdles to overcome, the one with the prospect of getting plans approved and breaking ground in the quickest possible time.
A decision has not yet been taken on the area with several spots in the running. La Maura is well documented as being in the running, but also Sesto San Giovanni, San Donato and Rozzano-Assago.
Each has pros and cons and the Rossoneri leaders are working on several fronts, with Sesto starting with the advantage of offering a large area and the consent of the Municipality.
enough of this rubbish Sesto is available why no give a try. avoid any site that will involve sala. I read a news on inter site asking for response from Milan and inter in 3 months after waisted over 3 years
La maura too hard and complicated just move to other site like sesto or san donato. Sesto mayor already guarantee land and access for transportation but it seems RedBird still want la maura because close to san siro
