AC Milan are still keen on signing Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic but face competition from a Serie A rival, according to a report.
It is no secret now that Milan are on the lookout for a new centre-forward who can offer more guarantees from a physical point of view given Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for two months after undergoing minor surgery on his knee.
While Olivier Giroud looks to be a concrete striker, last season showed that a third centre-forward – perhaps a younger profile – would serve the squad well. Kicker in Germany reported recently that Milan have got their eye on the Austria international Kalajdzic and from a starting point of around €25m the Bundesliga side are ready to talk.
Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting that Milan are keen on the 23-year-old centre-forward, but Roma could also move for him if Edin Dzeko were to leave the capital.
