GdS: Milan strike agreement with Real Madrid over new loan for playmaker but want €25m option

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have opened talks with Real Madrid and appear close to an agreement over the renewal of Brahim Diaz’s loan, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), head coach Stefano Pioli would like to keep Brahim for next season as well because the Spaniard proved to be a real attacking wildcard, developing as the season went on.

There has already been a first contacts between Milan and Real Madrid and the desire to renew the loan for another year is shared by all parties, including the player. This time, however, Maldini would like to include the possibility of an outright purchase around the €25m mark, but there is no agreement on the possible price yet.

Milan and Pioli, however, are now convinced of the choice to keep Diaz in the squad because of his versatility and his talent. Talks with Real Madrid will continue and there seem to be all the conditions to find an agreement.
