GdS: Milan to discuss loan duo with Man Utd and Real Madrid – the intention is to keep both

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan intend to hold talks with both Manchester United and Real Madrid over the futures of Diogo Dalot and Brahim Diaz, a report claims.

The Portuguese defender and the Spanish playmaker arrived on a season-long dry loan back in the last summer transfer window, and we are reaching the point in the season where assessments need to be made regarding the future.

According to what La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Milan will discuss the future of Dalot with Manchester United in the coming weeks. The paper claims that the management will try to keep the full-back with a formula that offers more guarantees, so from this we can infer a loan extension with an option to buy.

The same source also writes that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will try to keep Brahim Diaz as well, but again the right formula will have to be found with Real Madrid.
