AC Milan will make an attempt to sign Alvaro Morata during the summer transfer window as the striker wants a Serie A return, a report claims.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Milan have Morata on their list of attacking targets and are expected to open talks with Atletico Madrid in view of the summer window when a centre-forward will be a necessity.
The Spanish international – whose contract expires in June 2024 – could be sold at a reduced price by Los Colchoneros so as not to lose him for free the following summer, especially given he would be open to leaving too.
Morata is highly admired by both Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara who maintained relations with his agent in the period prior to Olivier Giroud’s arrival at the Rossoneri, but then nothing came of it.
In the summer the parties will try to meet by focusing on Morata’s desire to change clubs and to return to shine in Serie A, coupled with Milan’s need to sign a striker who guarantees goals.

If this is truly Maldini’s target. It clearly shows that Maldini is part of Milan’s problems. Karva was recommended to him , by a former Milan player. He refused. at a low cost. many free good players were recommended but Maldini won’t open his eyes. enough of this B.S. When Boban was around Milan were targeting good players. Morata is the kind of forward who can be prolific on a great team. AC Milan do not have the players to give Morata that great team behind him. He would fail miserably.

I prefer to sign players from our league, not sure he could translate as well in Serie A, wasn’t impressed with him at the World Cup, but Canada’s service was lacking so he couldn’t find his game, so I might be a bit harsh in his regard. That being said they wanted him, he proved he could score in France one season, we waited another one now Lille will ask to break bank for him. doubled or trippled his value since we began showing interest. This is totally insane! Maldini. Where did Julian Alvarez, Enzo Fernandes, Lucas Paqueta, Fred and Gabriel Jesus came from? South America that is. This is where we shall find another Kaka ,Pato, Robinho, Sheva and Ibra. Let’s Check out there the likes of Angelo Gabriel, Igor gomes, Yeferson soteldo, German cano etc and bring in the best. Let’s not wait for mancity or Real Madrid to bring another Star from there and then we start chasing them. Not just lucking options until we reach to a point of bringing Morata .Who does that?
