GdS: Milan willing to sell midfielder for loss of €20m as two teams show keen interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are prepared to sell Lucas Paqueta this summer having been left ‘disappointed’ by his performances, with a report claims two teams are keen.

Paqueta has not had the easiest time in the last few months having slipped down the pecking order under head coach Stefano Pioli, but he recently claimed he feels ‘at home’ with Milan.

Nonetheless, Calciomercato.com recently reported that Paqueta isn’t well suited for the tactics that Ralf Rangnick wants to implement at Milan for next season. Therefore, they are likely to part ways in the summer.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday – as cited by MilanNews – Paqueta could change teams in the coming months as Milan have been left ‘disappointed’ by his signing so far.

Despite this, Fiorentina and Benfica are both keen on signing the 22-year-old, with Milan having placed a €25million valuation on him.

The same paper recently stated that the Rossoneri paid €35million plus €10million bonuses to sign him from Flamengo, therefore a combined €45m.
