AC Milan are still looking to sell winger Suso during the January window with a swap deal for Cengiz Under a possibility, a report claims.
The Spaniard was jeered by Rossoneri supporters when he came off the bench during Wednesday night’s 3-0 win over SPAL, and there continues to be speculation that he will be sold after Stefano Pioli’s shift to a 4-4-2.
According to Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Suso is indeed on the list of transferable players for Milan this month, but it will not be a simply situation to resolve.
The problem, the paper claims, is finding a buyer ready to invest. Milan for their part are willing ti sell the 26-year-old for a lower fee than his €40million release clause – just as they were in the summer – and Roma remain the most likely destination.
Even though Matteo Politano has joined, the Giallorossi are keen admirers of Suso, and any negotiation for can be arranged without the same urgency there was when Roma were looking for a replacement for Nicolo Zaniolo ASAP.
Milan and Roma are likely to hold more talks about a possible exchange of loans.
