GdS: Milan’s defence will change again vs. Torino as Pioli has key man back

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be another change to AC Milan’s defensive line after the win and clean sheet against Dinamo Zagreb with Fikayo Tomori now back in the fold, a report claims.

Pioli was without a number of players for the trip to Croatia with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Florenzi, Davide Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers and Mike Maignan all out until 2023, while Sergino Dest has muscle fatigue and did not travel, and Fikayo Tomori was suspended.

According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, Sunday’s match against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino will see the return of Tomori to the starting XI after he missed the win over Dinamo Zagreb.

Alongside him in the centre of the defence there will be the chance for Simon Kjaer to build on his good form since returning from injury as the Dane and the Englishman will once again form a pair that has in the past been solid.
