GdS: Milan’s stance on pursuit of deals for Man Utd and Real Madrid duo outlined

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are seemingly in no hurry to make a decision just yet on the future of two players they have on loan until the end of the season.

The Rossoneri secured the signings of Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid and Diogo Dalot from Manchester United during the summer transfer window, but they did not obtain an option to buy on either deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) however, Paolo Maldini has a gentlemen agreement with Real to discuss the possible purchase of the player during the season.

The paper adds how news has come from Spain that a figure of €25-30million will needed to take sign the former Manchester City playmaker, but Milan are in no hurry to discuss the future of Brahim Diaz. The intention is to address these issues in the spring, when the scenario will be clearer.

The same goes for Dalot, another player who arrived on loan and for whom there have been no discussions with Manchester United. The former Porto defender has played less than the Spaniard and has not yet shown his true potential.

His value will be better understood in the coming months, and then the Rossoneri management will be able to make a judgement call.
