Yunus Musah landed in Italy last night and he will soon become AC Milan’s eighth signing of what has been a very busy summer window thus far.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) writes how Musah landed in Milan on time – passing through Amsterdam – on KLM flight 1627. He set foot at Linate airport yesterday at 22:43 CEST.
Today will begin the process that will lead to the signing of his contract. and official announcement. First, however, medical checks and fitness tests are required, then he will go to the headquarters and sign a deal until 2028.
Musah should be available to Pioli when training resumes on Sunday afternoon, after the two days of relaxation following the USA tour.
The 20-year-old will be able to be tested in the remaining friendlies, starting with the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy scheduled for Tuesday evening in Monza.
The day after will be the test at Milanello against Trento (Serie C) and the last match against Novara next Sunday, again at Milanello.
Musah will be able to be functional to the coach in a dual role: as one of the two central midfielders in a 4-2-3-1, or expanding to play mezzala (right or left) in the new 4-3-3 that Pioli is studying.
Quite certain it will be Reijnders – Musah – RLC
Trio as even with the questionable love Pioli has for Krunic I doubt he’ll be a starter for 4-5 months
I definitely think so too.
I believe musah has the potential to play as no 6.
I mean, krunic originally wasn’t a defending midfielder but he grew into that position
If he’s not sold then Krunic will start in the middle. Believe that.
Krunic isn’t starting in the middle contrary to belief on here. And yea he’s on his way out.
