GdS: ‘No positive developments’ regarding Donnarumma renewal amid PSG, Real Madrid links

By Oliver Fisher -

The renewal of star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma seems a difficult task for AC Milan to tackle at the moment, according to a report.

The 20-year-old has been nothing short of exceptional for the Rossoneri this season and is virtually the first name on the team sheet when fit, however his contract expires in June 2021 meaning his career with Milan is reaching another decisive crossroads.

His agent is of course Mino Raiola, who is likely to demand that his client signs up for a truly ambitious contract, something which he warned Elliott Management before the game against Brescia.

According to Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – the renewal of Gigio Donnarumma is always in the balance.

The paper adds that there have been no positive developments with Raiola and if the agreement for the extension does not arrive by June, he could leave in the summer so as not to risk losing him on a free transfer.

The same paper recently claimed that the Diavolo would demand about €50million if he were forced to leave at the end of the season, while the likes of PSG, Juventus and Real Madrid have all been credited with interest.
