GdS: Patience key as Milan remain confident of securing final midfield piece

AC Milan are pushing for one more piece to complete their midfield and it is expected to be Yunus Musah that they go for, a report claims.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) writes how there is ‘confidence’ regarding Musah even if it will take time to break down the resistance of Valencia and more specifically their president Peter Lim.

Milan have an agreement over personal terms with the player, who has agreed a salary of €2m net per season and a long-term deal, but the LaLiga side are blocking his exit for now with a second bid rejected.

The feeling is that the deal could go through later in the window, when Valencia’s stance softens a bit. It has been well documented that Lim is hoping for other teams to come in so an auction begins, but their need to sell players is also a pressing factor.

    1. Management like his nationality and his typically raw talent of young player to be developed by coach. It’s his task.

    2. Forget Kessie. He’s Ivorian and doesn’t have any other citizenship. He’s non-EU and we have used both non-EU spots. Why are people still talking about Kessie? He’s not coming to us.

  1. How does this work with the non-EU? If we get Chuck, Musah will take us to 3?
He is US and English, both non-EU as I understand?

  2. We could have breaught Ricci or Dominguez long time ago. Cardinal is just forcing this issue because he’s American. We need a concrete DM. Musah is not.
