GdS: Pioli has heart set on completing two objectives at Milan despite Rangnick speculation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is determined to finish the current campaign with a flourish despite all the rumours surrounding his future.

It seems increasingly likely based on reports in the media that Rangnick will accept a role at Milan which will see him lead a revolution at the club.

Nonetheless, Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) claims that Pioli does not seem to suffer from the indiscretions that are constantly rumbling regarding his future.

The former Lazio and Inter boss knows that he will be judged based on results in the field and the decisions of Ivan Gazidis will be key, with the Milan CEO aware Pioli has always worked with commitment, conviction and seriousness.

Now Pioli wants to end on a high note, so if and when the season starts again he will aim for one key goal: to bring Milan back to Europe.

Pioli will also put everything into the return of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Juventus, which would guarantee Milan both a final and direct access to the Europa League.
