GdS: Pioli seriously considering starting Ibrahimovic against Lazio – the Swede is determined

By Oliver Fisher -

Stefano Pioli is seriously considering starting Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Sunday’s game against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic has a desire to play because he wants to end his second spell with the Rossoneri in the best possible way, and there is the feeling that he could start in the capital tomorrow.

On Wednesday against SPAL, despite not being in top form, Ibra created confusion when he entered the field and re-energised his team-mates who were struggling to create. It may be a coincidence that before his entry Milan were two goals down, but the comeback did happen while he was on the field.

Pioli knows how fundamental Ibra is for his team and for this reason he is seriously thinking of starting him due to his desire, his determination and his personality.

The Swede obviously does not have 90 minutes in his legs and is not 100% fit, but he could be decisive even with 60 minutes of action given Lazio have so many selection headache.
