GdS: Positive feelings around Ibrahimovic’s return; decision days away

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have positive feelings about the potential return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims, with his decision set to arrive soon.

Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) recaps Ibrahimovic’s recent quotes which have sent positive signs, such as “Milan is my second home” and “See you soon in Italy, I will go to a club that has to renew its history” to GQ.

The Rossoneri have their hearts set on the idea of bringing the 38-year-old back for a second spell as he would help on both a technical and commercial level, and would make it possible to make progress very quickly up the rankings. This is why Maldini and Boban are more determined than ever to wait.

The paper goes on to state that Zlatan will decide what to do by the middle of the month, but that the club has positive feelings about what that decision will be.

The Milanello gates could open before January, as staff and management hope to see him training with the rest of the group as soon as possible so he can be in ideal condition.

Milan’s current however offer is 6 or 18 month deal (the second year is an option) worth a total of €6m net (€2m + €4m). They believe that to be their best offer and a fair offer, and hope Ibra will decide with his heart.
