AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is attracting some interest from England which could bring the club to make a decision about his future, a report claims.
According to la Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), at least one Premier League side are interested in signing Leao which makes his situation an interesting one. On Wednesday the management had a conversation with Jorge Mendes, his agent, and the topic of Leao’s future was discussed.
Mendes presented in front of Milan the concrete interests from the Premier League for his client. Paolo Maldini , on the other hand, reiterated how the investment made in 2019 for Leao was important and successful and how Leao remains a key part of their plans.
Nonetheless, Milan could tempted by the idea of obtaining a nice amount from the sale of Leao, so if an adequate offer of at least €30m were to arrive from England, the 22-year-old could become a luxury sacrifice.
With this income, the Rossoneri would have the necessary liquidity for a signing that is perhaps more functional to Pioli’s 4-2-3-1.
