GdS: Probable starting XIs for Inter vs. Milan – Castillejo in line to get the nod

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is set to resist the temptation to play Brahim Diaz for the start against Inter in Saturday’s derby, a report claims.

Pioli will be without Ante Rebic meaning he needs a solution on the left, and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) believe that he will play Alexis Saelemaekers there with Samu Castillejo on the right. Leo Duarte and Matteo Gabbia are out with Coronavirus, while Mateo Musacchio is injured.

Conte will be without a number of players in midfield and defence as Radja Nainggolan, Milan Skriniar, Roberto Gagliardini, Alessandro Bastoni, Andrei Radu and Ashley Young have tested positive for Coronavirus, while Alexis Sanchez is also expected to miss out.

Here are the probable starting XIs of Inter and Milan for tomorrow night’s match at San Siro…

Probable Inter XI (3-4-1-2): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Kolarov; Hakimi, Vidal, Brozovic, Perisic; Barella; Lukaku, Lautaro.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Saelemaekers; Ibrahimovic.
