There will be multiple changes for AC Milan from the starting XI that drew with Lille for Sunday’s home game against Fiorentina, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning (via MilanNews), Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal for the Rossoneri with a defence in front of him composed of Calabria on the right, Kjaer and Romagnoli in the middle and Theo Hernandez at left-back.
In the midfield, Tonali will keep his place from Thursday’s draw in France but will be deployed alongside Kessie as Bennacer has a slight problem.
Saelemaekers will return on the right wing, with Hakan Calhanoglu down the middle and Brahim Diaz on the left supporting Ante Rebic up front.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Brahim Diaz; Rebic.
For new Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli the main headline is that he looks set to abandon the three-man defence and focus on a 4-3-1-2.
Watch out for the offensive trident: Castrovilli will act as a pure playmaker behind Ribery and the young Vlahovic, while the ex-Milan player Bonaventura will start on the bench.
Probable Fiorentina XI (4-3-1-2): Dragowski; Caceres, Milenkovic, Pezzella, Biraghi; Amrabat, Pulgar, Valero; Castrovilli; Ribery, Vlahovic.
