GdS: Probable XIs for Atalanta vs. Milan – 10 of 11 players already decided by Pioli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have left themselves with it all to do on Sunday afternoon as they face Atalanta in a game that will decide their top four fate.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gianluigi Donnarumma will be protected by a back four of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez with Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie the double pivot.

At the moment, the only doubt concerns the battle between Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao for a spot in the trio behind Ante Rebic, with the battle currently weighted 60-40 in percentage terms in favour of the Portuguese. Alexis Saelemaekers and Hakan Calhanoglu meanwhile are guaranteed of a place and Rebic will indeed start due to the injury Ibrahimovic is battling.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Leao; Rebic.

Probable Atalanta XI (3-4-1-2): Gollini; Toloi, Romero, Djimsiti; Hateboer, De Roon, Freuler, Gosens; Malinovskyi; Zapata, Muriel.

  1. The coach should let Daiz start from the right wing and drop Alexis to the bench, Daiz can create chances and score
Alexis will only make so many styles but can not
