AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to stick with the same starting XI that played against Chelsea and Juventus for the game against Hellas Verona tonight.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) believe Ciprian Tatarusanu will get the nod to start in goal, with Mike Maignan set to return against Monza, while Matteo Gabbia and Fikayo Tomori will be the centre-backs with Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez the full-backs.
The midfield should consist of the usual pairing of Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali, with Rade Krunic joining them in what is likely to be a 4-3-3 system. Brahim Diaz is tipped to be the right winger with Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud completing the attack.
Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer, Krunic; Diaz, Giroud, Leao.
Probable Verona XI (3-4-2-1): Montipò; Hien, Gunter, Cabal; Faraoni, Tameze, Veloso, Doig; Hrustic, Verdi; Henry.
You may think it’s a 4-3-3 formation, but it’s not. It’s a fucking stubborn manager who’d rather play to his formation than to this players ability.
