AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to undo the changes he made to the starting line-up for the midweek defeat against Torino as the Rossoneri return to league action with a trip to Lecce.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Milan should line up with Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal and a back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of him.
Sandro Tonali is suspended after accumulating too many yellow cards and Tommaso Pobega should therefore take his spot, accompanying Ismael Bennacer – fresh from a renewal until 2027 – in the double pivot.
In attack Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao should be the right and left winger respectively, with Brahim Diaz playing in the No.10 role behind the centre-forward Olivier Giroud.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo; Pobega, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Actually Messias is an upgrade over Saelemaekers but not a big one.

This guy has always been a bigger talent than those 2. Also watch his goals, he has huge talent. Now he seems to be really hitting his stride in Serie A too.
Anyway even if he isn’t world class we are going to need him next season given our current attacking options.

We are still in the scuddeto race ..Olivier Giroud will start scoring goals again ..We are wounded ,but not out …We will come back ..we won the scuddeto last season against all the odds ,just tell me why we can win it again ..I think juventus will win against Napoli tonight ..

Goals will also come from rafeol leao ..his last two games have not been good ,but of course is is a class player but needs to start to relax on the ball ,and yes of course takes players on ,but deliver that final ball instead of always trying to get a shot in …

We have been very unlucky with so many injuries..
It makes it difficult to rotate the squad …,but some are now coming back to fitness .
