AC Milan face yet another big test on Sunday as they welcome Atalanta to San Siro knowing they need a maximum of four points to be crowned league champions.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Mike Maignan should be in goal for the Rossoneri with the same back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez in front of him.
There should be a change in the midfield though where Ismael Bennacer comes back into the double pivot alongside Sandro Tonali, with Franck Kessie keeping his spot as the playmaker and Rade Krunic dropping to the bench.
The right and left wings should be occupied by Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao respectively, with Olivier Giroud starting as the centre-forward again.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Kessie, Leao; Giroud.
Probable Atalanta XI (3-4-1-2): Musso; Djimsiti, Demiral, Palomino; Hateboer, De Roon, Freuler, Zappacosta; Koopmeiners; Muriel, Zapata.

Krunich must play as a play maker because kessie can’t play as an attacking midfielder, we really need a win. Or play messiahs as an attacking midfielder.. we need goals

Pls play Rebic at 10 and Diaz at RWF to keep pressuring them till the end of the game,but all the same Pioli knows best so I will trust his decision

Krunic needs to play. You need to have quality coming from the bench that can change the game if necessary. Kessie doesn’t do much better than Krunic as AM. Kessie and Tonali start.
Bennacer is good quality off the bench. It’s not because he’s not good to start, but if you need to substitute perhaps injury or fatigue, you have to have strong choices. It’s about strategy. Let Krunic rough it out with the boys, then Bennacer can replace him later.
I think Leo is suspended for the numbers card he picked..
Kessie will perform well against his former club — he always has his best games versus Atalanta. I’m OK with the starting lineup and we always have Krunic and Rebic to come in off the bench for an injection of energy/pressing/defense.
Have no fear Olivier Giroud is here ..This Ac Milan team are so good to watch ,so exciting..Never forget that experience is also needed ..I am speaking about Giroud and zlatan ibramavich ..I have always believed that we can and indeed should win the scuddeto this season …Experience will see us through the line ..
