GdS: Probable XIs for Inter vs. Milan – two changes from win over Genoa

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Inter face off in the second leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final tonight at San Siro, and some team news has emerged ahead of the game.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) reports that Mike Maignan should start in goal for the Rossoneri, with a back four comprising of Davide Calabria – back from illness – Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez from right to left.

Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer are expected to be the double pivot but Franck Kessie will keep his place in the starting line-up as he should be preferred to Brahim Diaz, with Junior Messias to his right and Rafael Leao to his left behind the centre-forward Olivier Giroud.

Probable Inter XI (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Batons; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Dzeko, Lautaro.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Messias, Kessie, Leao; Giroud.
