GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Salernitana – Giroud and Tonali rested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is expected to make changes to his starting line-up for tomorrow’s game at home against Salernitana, according to a report.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan should line up with Mike Maignan in goal plus Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw in a three-man defence, but with Simon Kjaer coming in for Fikayo Tomori.

The wing-backs should be Alexis Saelemaekers on the right and Theo Hernandez on the left, with Ismael Bennacer and Rade Krunic as the double pivot and Sandro Tonali dropping to the bench.

The attacking trident should then consist of Charles De Ketelaere and Rafael Leao as the two operating behind centre-forward Divock Origi, with Olivier Giroud therefore getting a rest.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Kjaer, Thiaw; Saelemaekers, Bennacer, Krunic, Theo Hernandez; De Ketelaere, Leao; Origi.

Probable Salernitana XI (3-4-2-1): Ochoa; Daniliuc, Gyomber, Pirola; Mazzocchi, Coulibaly, Crnigoj, Bradaric; Candreva, Dia; Piatek.
