AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to return to the four-man defence for tonight’s game against Salernitana at the Stadio Arechi, according to a report.
According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) this morning, Mike Maignan will be in goal with a back four of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez in front.
The paper predicts that it will be a double pivot in midfield with Ismael Bennacer returning to a starting spot after seven months out. He is expected to be partnered by Tijjani Reijnders, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek just ahead.
Christian Pulisic will be on the right side of the attack with Rafael Leao on the left and Olivier Giroud as the centre-forward.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.

Yes this formation is the perfect line up but please Pioli don’t play 4-3-3 for us we don’t want any of our players to be injured playing the 4-2-3-1 is our best formation but Pioli needs to give Luka Romero playing time like the second half that guy is very skilled in attacking midfield and can be a very solid support to Loftus cheek while either Benercer or rejnder can sub around 85th minutes for Yacine Adli then we remove tomori for Bartasaghi because we want Kjaer to play full time that Kjaer helps us to relieve pressure of our opponents so his among the solidity of Acmilan
