GdS: PSG striker wants Milan move but he remains an alternative target

By Oliver Fisher -

Hugo Ekitike wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain and join AC Milan but a deal appears difficult to complete at the moment, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) this morning, the Milan management are looking for a striker in these final few days of the summer transfer window and Porto’s Mehdi Taremi is on the list.

The Rossoneri will make a further attempt to sign the Iranian, but there is still a distance between the €15m that Milan are willing to pay and the €20-25m that Porto want for a player who has 10 months left on his contract.

The alternative remains Ekitike, but the road to the Frenchman is also uphill because West Ham have also moved and Eintracht Frankfurt are keen on including him in a deal for Randal Kolo Muani.

Ekitike continues to put Milan at the top of his list of preferences, because he is attracted by the idea of playing Champions League football, but it seems unlikely that the dream will become a reality at present.
