GdS: Raiola and Bonaventura set deadline over future – Milan face a dilemma

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ‘intent’ on reaching an agreement over the renewal of Giacomo Bonaventura, according to the latest reports.

The 30-year-old has been in fine form after re-establishing himself in the starting XI, and he found the back of the net once again in Sunday’s 3-2 win over Bologna, his second goal in three games.

La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira recently claimed that his agent Mino Raiola wants to try and find an agreement with Milan over a renewal for Bonaventura until 2022, and he wants to have everything tied up by the end of January. In the mean time he has apparently offered his client to both Roma and Napoli.

The online version of the La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday looks at Bonaventura’s situation, whose contract with Milan expires on June 30.

They claim that Milan are intent on extending his contract but are not in a hurry, while the player would like to renew before February 1, when he would free to sign with another team.
