GdS: Real Madrid’s asking price and Milan’s tentative plan – the future of Brahim Diaz

By Oliver Fisher -

The more that Brahim Diaz continues to impress in a Milan shirt, the more his potential asking price continues to become a problem for the Rossoneri.

That is because Milan only managed to secure the playmaker on a season-long dry loan deal, and of course good performances both increase his valuation and also increase the chances of Real Madrid wanting to use him next season.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) focuses on the future of Brahim, and seems to confirm that there are a couple of possibilities for him to stay at the club beyond next summer.

To sign him on a permanent basis as things stand currently would cost around €25million, not a cheap amount but not wildly unreasonable either. However, the paper adds that Milan could think about renewing his loan for another year too.

The dialogue with Real Madrid and with the player’s entourage has not yet begun, but the Milan management seem intent on keeping him.
