GdS: Sale ruled out as Milan firmly believe in Leao but a turning point is expected

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have no intention of selling Rafael Leao this summer but they expect a turning point from the young forward, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Leao is seen as a player with pure talent but also difficulties in expressing it. Last season in Serie A he scored two goals against Spezia plus one against Sassuolo, Benevento, Torino and Parma. The Portuguese forward therefore struggled in the big games, and the responsibilities of being the deputy to Ibrahimovic proved to be too much.

The potential is evident, even if the results have not always justified his use, but Milan believe in his qualities. Maldini and Massara are looking for reinforcements for the attack, but they aren not looking to sell Leao noris a loan an option considered. His future is with the Rossoneri, but the time has come for a turning point.
