GdS: Serie A managers’ salaries revealed – Pioli not near the top; Inter and Juventus are shocks

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is not among the highest paid coaches in Serie A, at least according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The paper (via MilanLive) have published the data regarding the salary numbers for the coaches of the current Serie A, having revealed the figures for the players yesterday.

The most striking piece of information is that Inter head coach Antonio Conte earns so much more than the 19 other coaches. The Nerazzurri boss earns €12million per season.

Conte is ahead of Roma head coach Paulo Fonseca who currently earns a €2.5million net salary, while Gian Piero Gasperini earns €2.2m net at Atalanta having recently signed a renewal with a pay rise.

Pioli is not among the highest paid coaches, as receives a salary of €2m per year just like Sinisa Mihajlovic (Bologna) and Simone Inzaghi (Lazio).

Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo is only seventh in the standings with €1.8million.
