Yunus Musah is expected to arrive in Milano tomorrow or on Wednesday to complete his move to AC Milan. He will be the eighth signing of the summer and his shirt number could be influenced by that.
Musah has been wearing the No.4 shirt for the last three seasons at Valencia but at Milan, Ismael Bennacer has that number. And the No.6, which he wears with USA, is retired in honour of Franco Baresi.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Musah could decide to wear the No.80. It’s a number that Ronaldinho once had at the club and this appears to be the most likely choice for the time being.
Musah will undergo the medical tests upon his arrival in Italy and then he will sign the contract at Casa Milan. It remains to be seen in which role Stefano Pioli will deploy him, with some shouts for the defensive midfield role.
