GdS: Theo Hernandez a bargain for Milan – ‘A tractor in constant motion’

By Oliver Fisher -

Theo Hernandez has been the light at the end of a difficult tunnel for AC Milan so far this season, as La Gazzetta dello Sport note on Monday morning.

Hernandez was the goalscorer and the match winner for the Rossoneri in Parma on Sunday afternoon; the full-back netting his third goal of the season already to move him up to being the club’s joint-top scorer alongside Krzysztof Piatek.

Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta (via MilanNews.it) takes recalls how the €20m paid to sign Hernandez from Real Madrid over the summer now appears to be somewhat of a bargain.

The Frenchman’s three goals have all come away from San Siro, but so far he has earned the team six points which is unmatched.

Milan’s attack continues to struggle to score, but Theo is a very particular type of full-back: one who is in fact ‘a tractor in constant motion’ that rolls everything that passes under its wheels.

He always pushes up the field, but he is improving even in the defensive phase, even if his positioning still requires some work.  Hernandez can be a launching point for Milan’s resurgence.
