GdS: Theo risks small sanction for Instagram post about referee Pasqua – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

Theo Hernandez risks being sanctions by the Federal Prosecutor for his Instagram post after the defeat against Napoli, according to a report.

There was a penalty shout in the closing stages of the game in which Theo went down having been at best scraped and at worst impeded by Bakayoko. Not only that, but earlier in the game there was arguably a clear red card as Di Lorenzo went in on Theo’s ankle with his studs showing.

Theo made his thoughts on the referee’s game clear on social media, as the full-back posted a story on Instagram with an image of the referee Fabrizio Pasqua and some vomiting emojis that highlight his displeasure.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the story was quickly deleted but still found its way to the Federal Prosecutor’s desk and he decided to open a file on the issue, even though it did not happen on the pitch.

The Rossoneri full-back risks a fine though and nothing else, and it would be sensational if a penalty of another type (suspension) were requested for conduct that is certainly wrong, but not serious.
