AC Milan made it three wins on the spin against Monza last night to further reinforce the idea that they are climbing out of the hole they were in, a report claims.
As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), three clues prove that Milan ‘are back’, more specifically the 1-0 wins against Torino, Tottenham and Monza.
The Rossoneri certainly suffered in their victory against Palladino’s men but it was another win that came just a few days after the victory in the Champions League, which in turn also followed the hard fought victory over Ivan Juric’s men.
Pioli himself also confirmed this after the match that he thinks the team are on the right path after a dreadful start to 2023: “Have we recovered? Yes, it was the perfect week. We won three difficult and important matches after a delicate period, which had made us feel down.”
Now, the challenge will be to follow that up in the game against an in-form Atalanta side in what is a huge game in the battle for the top four.
