GdS: Three targets stand out as Milan want to invest in a quality forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are willing to make a big investment to sign a quality player for the attacking department, and three names reportedly stand out above most.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the management know that a quality playmaker and right winger are needed to take the squad to the next level and there are several profiles on their radar, but three stick out.

The first is Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge who is the name that is probably at the top of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara’s wish list, but it will not be easy to convince the Belgian club to sell him as they would prefer to keep him for another year, so that will inflate the transfer fee demands.

Nicolò Zaniolo of Roma is another option and is a player that both knows the league well and would help with the squad list regulations as a homegrown player, but again the current requests are high and must be lowered.

The third name is De Ketelaere’s Brugge team-mate Noa Lang. In recent days the Dutchman has made it known that he wants to leave Belgium and with the right offer they are willing to sell. Milan are only likely to sign one of the three players, but sales could open up the opportunity to sign a couple.
