There are two big factors that will work in AC Milan’s favour as they look to secure the signing of Houssem Aouar from Lyon ahead of their rivals, a report claims.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, the Milan management are ready to offer around €8m in January to try and sign Aouar from Lyon, given his contract with the French club expires at the end of the season.
Roma and Juventus are mentioned as having an interest too, but there are two factors working in favour of Milan as they look to beat the competition and bolster a midfield which is perhaps a bit weaker than last season after Franck Kessie’s exit.
First of all, Milan’s project is attractive to young players as the Rossoneri have shown they know how to make players with potential develop into something special, and Aouar is just 24.
Furthermore, the agency that looks after the interests of the Lyon academy graduate is the same as the one that represents Sergino Dest and Pierre Kalulu, so relations are good.
