Morten Frendrup is on the list of potential recruitments for several Serie A clubs and AC Milan find themselves among that list.
The January window has heaps of potential for Milan, and it could be season-saving if done right. There are key areas that need fixing and there are the tools available for this to be done, however, the budget must be correctly allocated.
Fikayo Tomori’s sale could be huge for the window, and reports from earlier today have suggested that his departure could fund the arrival of Samuele Ricci, but if Torino are unwilling to part with the Italian, Frendrup could be the best alternate.
In recent weeks, as Sportitalia (via Milan Press) write, the Rossoneri have been keeping tabs on the midfielder, as have Atalanta and some Premier League clubs, though it is worth noting that La Dea have already made a bid to Genoa totalling €15 million.
This has fallen under the price demanded by the Rossoblu though. Instead, they would like to receive €25m for their star midfielder, which realistically, both clubs could afford – for the Diavolo, it will be heavily reliant on the situation of Tomori and Ricci.
Given a midfielder is needed, it is possible that Milan could bite the bullet, as they did in the summer with Fofana, and pay more than they had hoped in the mid-season mercato, especially if it drags them up the table.
22M for Frendrup and with the money from RLC sale is such a easy decision… 4M in salary to sit on the bench…
He, Ricci, Bennacer will solve all the issues we currently have in midfield… heck, even Okafor-Pellegrini swap makes so much sense…
Swap back Saelemakers-Abraham, sell Okafor, Calabria, Jovic. Camarda already a replaced the Serb, so that only leaves RB and ST roles…
J.David come in as a great and cheap solution, while RB is hard to say other than Dodo/Vanderson
Nobody is buying ruben for 20+M€
Get your head out of your a$so fifa boy
I rest my case… it’s clear who is attention seeker CuckTurtle…
I told the truth and you got triggered.
How predictable.
But do enlighten me. Which club is interested to buy ruben for 20+M€?
I haven’t seen a single club looking at him.
Problem is always the same:
Sale paradox – if you have player without impact on the game you can’t sell him , because of his salary, and rest of ammortisation.
If you have good player, you don’t want to sell him except of huge income which is not arriving easily.
For real who the F is paying 20m for RLC? Why would Roma swap salad back? Answer those questions please…
I just don’t see Milan paying 30-35mil (if even that is the price) for Ricci… Doesn’t seem like the Redbird model. Would love Ricci, but we’ll probably end up with someone half the price.
This dude is more like a mezzala than a DM from what I’ve seen based on how this fanbase hypes him up .However he has attributes (aggression, tackling) to do improve the midfield defending. But where I’ve seen him play in Genoa he’s more further away from DM positioning and more box to box.
Also…and more importantly if he’s that good the he’s too expensive for us lol 😂
