Santiago Gimenez left Feyenoord with the knowledge that he would return to the Netherlands shortly after, due to the Champions League. However, he would have hoped for a better return.
After an assist in his first game and a goal in his second, the anticipation about Gimenez’s Feyenoord return was huge. Fans hoped that he, and the other members of the Fantastic Four, would be able to conjure some magic to give the club an early advantage, but this did not happen.
Instead, Milan have been left with a challenge at San Siro, and the Mexican striker already has his eyes set on the return fixture, but he also had something else to say to the Dutch outfit, as can be seen below.
“Thanks Feyenoord for all the love you gave me…

“See you at San Siro”
