Giornale: Pioli asks Maldini and Massara to sign two players before window shuts – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has asked Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to secure reinforcements in two positions, a report claims.

Numerous sources are reporting that Paqueta is all set for a permanent move to Lyon, and MilanNews also relay the information that Milan will collect €20m plus a percentage on future resale.

According to il Giornale (via MilanNews), after closing the sale of Paquetà to Lyon for €21m, Milan have a decent sum available for the last few days of the transfer market in which Maldini and Massara will try to satisfy the requests of Pioli.

The newspaper goes on to claim that the Rossoneri head coach has asked for two positions to be addressed in particular. He has asked for a central defender and a midfielder to arrive before the window shuts.
