Giornale: Rangnick could arrive soon as Elliott are worried – the next nine days are crucial

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick could arrive at AC Milan and take over from Stefano Pioli before the end of the current season, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by il Giornale (via MilanLive), there could be a sensational turn of events at Milan. Everything will depend on the next few results and if they are not convincing, then Rangnick could arrive to begin his new job early.

Milan’s ownership are determined to qualify for the Europa League and appear to be rather worried after the SPAL result and with Lazio, Juventus and Napoli next up. A streak of bad results would risk compromising the achievement of a fundamental goal.

Therefore a drastic decision could arrive in the next nine days to try and ‘save the season’ once again, just like removing Marco Giampaolo after 111 days in charge was meant to do.

Moreover, the time between this season and the next is very thin, and everything is already defined in one way or another regarding the German’s arrival.
